Default Amp for subs for the newbie... Help!

Alright so I have a stock system in my 03 a4. I received these 2 12" sony xplod subs for free. They each have their own box and am looking for an amp to get. I would like to put both subs in if I can get an amp big enough for around 100 bucks. If I can't get an amp that is sufficient for both I'll just power one of the subs. I want an amp with a bass control **** and enough to sound clean. I'm not gonna compete or anything but i like my music loud. ANY help with this would be great. Or advice wether to do both subs or just the one. Whatever would sound good for the price! Please let me know any of you audio know it alls!... Also if anybody in the Trenton NJ/Phillie area that knows of a good install shop would be great. Thanks!

i put a set of 10" infinity perfects in my 98 a4, and let me tell you, its simple enough to do, but you will have to disassemble the whole dash to get to the back of the head unit for the wiring, and putting a power cord through the firewall is a pain in the ***. what i did if it helps was cut a small hole in the rubber around the air conditioning pipes behind the glove box. hope this helps shed some light on whats involved if you do it yourself. and by the way, im about 40 minutes from the trenton area, im in hunterdon

Running the power is not hard at all there are rubber gromets already in the firewall that just plug holes. The amp for $100 is not going to be that easy. Jump the price up to $250 and you can get some decent amps for what you want. Try 1 sub and see if you like it, if not toss in the 2nd. Personally 1 should be good unless you are upgradeing the interior's, otherwise all you'll hear is bass.

they are 2 sony xplods... jsut go out to circuit city and get the sony xplod amp that is made for those subs... i believe it is $199 and you can see it on sale for like $170 sometimes.
As for getting it installled... its simple after you have done it once. but doing it the first time will prolly **** you off and when your done it will look like total DOO DOO
