Vehicle starts then immediately shuts down . Towed to my mechanic. He was unable to connect to Data Link port. There was no communication between the Engine Control Module and diagnostic tool. He could not figure out the problem. Vehicle towed to dealer. I have spent $1500 and they cannot tell me the problem with any certainty. They claim it was the air bag system then a possible lightning strike. Estimate to fix $5500. I just do not buy it! This car ran perfectly the night before. Does anyone have any thought? Starter and battery were fine. Could the E.C.M. Be the issue. Thanks
