Morning I Got My Audi With An Aftermarket Autopage Alarm With It. The Remote Was Acting Flaky @ Times so i went and replaced the battery in the remote i'm not sure if i had to get it reprogrammed after that but it wasn't working so i took the key opened the trunk and climbed through not realizing that i could unlock the doors with trunk. The alarm would just go off and all the blinkers would come come on. I called a friend over and hit just disconnected the horn for me. What i would like to know is the FOB was being bypassed and just the aftermarket remote was used to unlock the door could i just use the original again by just reprogramming the FOBS.
