That green wire that makes it euro..... :)
For all of you looking to do a Euro mod, well, start with this.
First off in Europe they do not run the position lights while car is on, so... I decided to make sure I don't have the yellow lights on while my headlights are on.
To do this you need;
-about 5 minutes
-one pair of precision cutters
-little DIY knowledge and trust.
So, start by opening the hood of the car, then undo the backs of the headlights (held by two wire snaps), then, look for the three wires that go to the far sides (green, red and brown). Take the green wire, and cut it! (These were the colors of the wires on my car, a 2000 A6 2.7T with HID lights).
Viola! Your car will now look nice and EURO SPEC!!!!
