rca inputs on the back of this unit
I have a 2002 audi A4 with the bose hu. Are there any rca inputs on the back of this unit? How can i hooka deviceup to the headunit that uses rca for outputting music?
No there are no RCA's, you will need to buy something like the Blitzsafe adaptor, http://enfigcarstereo.com/shopsite_s...X_DMX_V1B.html that is the one I use in my 03 with Bose, I have my MP3 player hooked up to it, works perfectly.
Smitty: Does the Blitzsafe adaptor make it so you can see the info on the screenand switch with factory radio controls? or is it just rca with no effect on the factory head unit except it plays through it?
No you cannot see anything on the screen or use the steering wheel radio controls, everything except volume must be adjusted on the device itself. That is the one downside. If you are looking to integrate an I-pod then you should get a Ice Link, it does just that by using the proprietary connector on the bottom of the unit. I have a creative player so I had to go the RCA route.
