I'm confused. My remote has been losing power of late (meaning that I have to be closer to the car for it to work), and the other day it gave out completely.

After a some monkeying around, I figured out where the battery is in there, and replaced it with a new 2032 battery. It still doesn't work. Is there some sort of re-calibration that has to be done once there's a new battery in there? I would like to be able to lock my car and turn on the alarm like I used to.
