Search Fail: Sorry. Another Ipod question.
Hello all. I just picked up a new 2008 Audi A3 3.2 Sline that was still on the lot. So far I love everything about it, and I'm glad to have had a chance to get a hold of a 3.2 before they were all gone. The wife and I already had 2 new GTI's. No sense in two of the same car. Therefore I "have" to keep trading my cars in.
Anyway, my question is this: My car came with the Audi Ipod adapter already installed as an option in the glove box. I have an Ipod touch, that doesn't work with it. Under CD's 7-12 it's playing the same songs on the list. I'm not able to scroll through it, view the song list, find other songs, or anything. The car is an '08, so I'm not sure if the problem is that my touch was made after the jack was installed, so it doesn't recognize it? Anyone else have this problem with getting a factory installed jack, and using an Ipod touch? I notice it doesn't charge it either. Or as someone had suggested to me here at home...Are my only options to create 6 play list and I can only play from them? If so, that kind of sucks. I know how to make a playlist. But I don't know how to designate them as playlist 7-12?
Thanks in advance for any replies. I'm sure I'm beating a dead horse here. But I couldn't find a thread specific to my question.
