Default trailer lights

Hi, there guys,

Hope you can help me out, im going to try to wire up a trailer lighting board to a 2002 1.8t a4 and use it when i carry my cycles as i need to travel at night.Has anyone out there tried this and if so can you give me any advice.Im sure there must be a ready made spur for this kind of thing as it must be a common addition.
thanks
