Will HIDs work on my car?
Hello everyone,
I just recently bought myself a beautiful 1998 Audi A4 B5 1.8T Quattro. The seller had previously done the "post facelift" to the car and had installed projector headlights to go along with it. He had rewired the car for the headlights and I was wondering what I would have to do/change to the car if I wanted to upgrade to 8000K HID bulbs? It sounded like from his point of view that it was already set up for HID bulbs, and all I am missing is the bulbs themselves. Is this too good to be true?
Thanks in advanced.

Yeah just get the HID kit with ballasts and bulbs and it's plug and play. I'd stick with 6000k or lower though - 8000k starts turning the light blue, and that'll cut down the visibility that you have. Even 6000k will LOOK blue to oncoming cars (for the "cool factor") but the light on the road is blazing white, which is what you want.
