Who makes the best CF hood for the B5? I had a few 240s in the past and put a SIBON hood on one of them. I was not pleased with the fitment. Hood latch was not the right hight, I had to all most sit on the hid to get it to lock down. Also the screw holes where the levers met the hood sucked! I was like screwing into plastic and i had to shim one of them to get it to tighten down.

So SIBON is out, what about VIS, or is there another company that makes a better hood?

 

VIS tends to be on/off on the fitment. Fiber Images makes a non vented hood which is of good quality. Vorsteiner makes hoods for the B5 but they are not cheap. If you want prices let me know.

 

yah im not looking to rice my car out. so no vents. I would rather pay more money and get a CF hood that fits and works right then look like a 2f2f prop car.
