Unhappy Curbed my wheels for the first time. Safe to drive on?

Last night, driving around Boston, I hit a curb taking a turn at a red light too sharply.

The result is a decent sized chunk taken out of my wheel, but what I'm more worried about is the tire. A large crack/hole is now present. See the pictures:

Thoughts?

Thanks,
Brian
