Question about window tinting laws.

Question about window tinting laws.
Does a driver from a state that has lenient windows tinting laws need to abide by laws from a state that has strict window tinting laws?
Say if I live in FL and I wanted to go MD for 3 months. FL has pretty good tinting laws, MD laws are strict and don't allow more 65% tint.

you should be fine, as long as you have FL plates and registration, you should not be issued a ticket in another state. Since window tint laws vary from state to state, most officers will not write a ticket for window tint if the car is registered/plated out of state.
I had experience with this in my old car: I live in MA, was at school in NY, got pulled over in NY, and the officer gave me a hard time about the window tint. When I explained to the officer that I don't have to comply with NY tint laws because my car was registered in MA and that it would just be a waste of time for him to write me a ticket because it will just be thrown out in court, he wasn't happy to hear that I was familiar with how laws work...but he did not write me a ticket

best bet is to go find a cop and ask him. I bet u will get mixed answers. Some states recently changed laws to write tickets to outof state drivers. I heard once of a guy having to pull his tint off infront of the cop to not get a ticket or he had to send payment later. but either way he pulled his tint. cant always count of landing a nice cop.

That case was abuse of power. You're bound by the laws of the state you're registered in when it comes to this kind of thing, unless you live in that other state (such as a NJ resident with NJ plates who attends college in NY - they MIGHT be able to mess with you if you have an address in the state - not sure).
Think about it - if you were boy d by the laws of whatever state you happen to be in at the time, any PA resident would be screwed in NY since PA has only a rear license plate and NY requires one on the front...
