Default Slow Loading Times

I've noticed that the pages here load slowly sometimes here. I use other forums as well (NASIOC, Legacygt.com, etc.) and they are no where near as slow as this one has been.

I'm sure it's not my internet connection (more pictures to load here) since I'm running a 16 meg connection

I've also noticed that the forum logs me out after a period of inactivity even when I select the "Remember me" check box when logging in.

Any ideas?

Try clearing your cache, for teh "autologout" problem. Don't know which browser you're using, but, basically you wanna clear the recent history and/or cookies.

Tell me which browser and I can give you specific directions, as long as its one of the big 3, that is.

Can't offer any advice on the slow loading.

I did try clearing my cache. I use google chrome and firefox. That didn't seem to help.

However, during the past few days it hasn't been misbehaving.

Still suffering from slow load times though. As well as bad links and sometimes not loading pages at all.

I get it, too, from time to time, but not enough to look deep into it.
