Default pixelation fix?

I have seen a seller on ebay stating that he has obd software and it includes instruction to repair pixel problems..
" AUDI PIXEL REPAIR/ FIX STEP BY STEP GUIDE
Tired of looking at that 'under performing' display?
Pixels that look like Hieroglyphics?
Looks like an 'alien' message?

Well, before you go and spend loads of your hard earned money on a commercial repair, or worse still a new unit.. TRY THIS !

Step by step, and with photographs and clear concise intructions, with no jargon or tech speak, this could help bring your pixel display back to its former glory.

You can do this your self with no technical knowledge. You only need a screwdriver and some 3mm double sided tape.

NO DRILLING, SOLDERING OR REWIRING
WILL TAKE ON AVERAGE 1 TO 2 HOURS TO PERFORM."
The cost is $12, so I guess I will try it and post the results...

Not only is there this (possible?) solution, but I found a vendor in Ontario Canada that guarantees he fixes the problem of the failing pixels permanently by receiving your crappo pixeless cluster and repairing it the way Audi should have made it once and for all. It costs $330 (includes shipping) for Audi/VW applications. Seems like the way to go if it is a sure thing. I too think Audi should correct the problem and do the obvious thing of making good on the car that they bill as the "best" in German engineering.
The company web address is info@speedofix.com. Seems legit.Anyone else have any info???

Default Me Too

I have the same issue, 9 lines or so.

ModuleMaster.com will do it with a garuntee for $150. I sent my ABS module to these guys and it was great. But I have not done my cluster . . . yet.
