Default 2000 A4 Quattro issues with clutch

I have a 2000 audi A4 quattro 5spd. It has a chip, not sure which one bought the car with it. Its boosting around 14-15 pounds. Well I have been having problems with the clutch slipping. It feels as if the disc still grabs good, maybe just the pressure plate is weak. Are there any other possibilities it could be? The pedal engages at the very top, and under throttle pressure under 4000 rpms will slip. I live in the orlando FL area, does anyone know where I can get this done for a reasonable price. It has a stage 2 clutch when I bought it, but was used for several months. Any help would be appreciated. I am just trying to sell the car, and knowing I'm going to need to fix this issue to do so.

Its probably just the friction disc slipping, i highly doubt it has a stg2 clutch if its slipping so much, that or it has more mileage on it than you think. Most likely needs a new clutch. Best case scenerio is $1,000 installed.

So no chance it could be a slave?

If it were a slave the fluid would either be leaking causing the pedal to sink to the floor, or it would fall to the floor and wouldn't come back up.
