2001 a4
Hello,
I am looking to buy an A4. I found one for $2500, 130k, runs well, but has a "random misfire" code/light on, and ABS brake light on.
No noticeable issue driving or braking. IS this a good buy, or asking for problems?
Thanks for any advice, and I hope this a good place to post this question.
I have loved these cars for a long time, and am excited to buy one.

Depends on a lot of things. Is it a 30v or a 1.8T? How's the condition of the interior and suspension? Has timing been done (should be every 60-65k miles)? Any code other than P0300? That can be caused by a lot of things. Read the sticky posts at the top of the B5 A4 subforum for a laundry list of things to look out for. That'll help in deciding if it's a good buy.
