2001 a6 locked out
Hey all! I'm new to the site so let me brief you all. I have a 2001 Audi A6 2.7 V6, with 103k miles. I recently had to have a bunch of work done to it (new battery, new alternator, new pads, new rotors, etc.). I had been out of the country for 3 months and knew that the battery had died so I left the doors unlocked so that I could get in. Now that I got the car fixed I can't seem to get the key fob to work, I changed the batteries so I know that is not the issue. Furthermore, when I was trying to reset the key fob remote, I accidentally locked all of the doors when I tried the key in the trunk.
So here I stand...I only have one Key Fob, can only get into the trunk. All of the doors are locked, and the buttons on the key fob remote do not do anything...I can't move the car, can't get into anything other than the trunk...Can anyone help me? I would rather not go to a dealer, seems like something I should be able to fix myself.
Help if you can!
Thanks
