2001 Audi A4 1.8t overheating
lost all coolant out of coolant temp sensor, fixed, no longer leaking but now over heating when at an idle and also running a little warm while driving. don't have much pressure in coolant hoses. suggestions?

My first guess would be you have air in the cooling system. Have you tried the bleed procedure? On one of the heater hoses is a white circle (at the firewall), that is a hole. Remove the clamp and slide the hose back enough so the hole is off the nipple. Do this with the engine running (carefully).
There should also be a bleed screw on the steel coolant pipe running along the side of the valve cover. At some point they eliminated the bleed screw and there's a hose going to the coolant reservoir instead but I don't remember what year anymore.
Those engines have a habit of the water pump impeller falling apart (plastic) either totally or some of the fins break off, causing overheating , especially at idle. That'd be a coincidence to have it happen right after a coolant leak though.
