Hey Gang,

My 2005 A6 with less than 50k miles has been in and out of Audi of Rochester Hills over the past month...more time there than on the road.

It started with an injector failure. Ok replaced at a cost of $800.

The next day another fuel related part failed. They replaced for the cost of the part.

That same day within 20 miles of the dealer another injector failed.

They replaced and discounted to $700.

About 100 miles of driving post the second injector the engine light went on again. And its been at the dealer all week. The only update I have is that they think more injectors are failing.

But they have not got to the root cause. Even the mechanic said it is highly unusual for one let alone multiple to fail. They have ruled out a fuel issue.

I asked them to engage Audi for diagnosis's (which I believe they did) and financial relief (and that has not happened).

Any advice, has anyone experience injector failure like this?
