2005 Audi A6 won't start, steering is locked, key is stuck. Please is needed
So i'm a car dealer in Texas and I sell a ton of Audi's. I decided to purchase a 05 audi a6 quattro 4.2 with 135k not running with out even looking it at. I had it towed to my lot on a dolly stand because the vehicle wouldn't go into neutral or move.
Long story short, the battery was completely dead.. I put a different battery on the car and it would only power the lights and MMI. The steering column is locked up but the steering wheel electric adjuster will move the wheel up, down forward and backwards. The Key is stuck into the immobilizer and does not go all the way back in it's straight up position. The car will not start or act as if the key is recognized to be removed. The vehicle does nothing. If i press the keyfob to uplock the locks the light on the key fob will flash a bunch of times. The shifter won't move no matter what. Seems like everything is just locked up... Any suggestions? Thanks!
