2007 A4 MMI Bluetooth Screeching Noise
Hello,
When I pair any phone to bluetooth, the car begins to make an extremely loud high pitched screeching noise that does not stop until the fuse is pulled out or the car battery is disconnected. It will do it when the car is running and continue after the ignition is turned off. The bluetooth used to work perfectly and now it cannot function.
I haven't seen anyone post about this issue so I was hoping someone could help me out.
2007 A4 quattro 2.0L. MMI has never been updated.

Face it. Your car doesn't like your phone.. LOL
Don't know what to tell you other than it does sound like an issue with the MMI. Try it with someone else's phone (preferably a different flavored phone) and see what happens. If the car screams about it, it's definitely the MMI unit. If you can get it updated, I'd go ahead and try that too.
