2000 A-6 2.7 T
Can anyone tell me if the tie rod end can be replaced by a do it yourselfer and does it require any special tools?
Have some mechanical ability but not that much with Audi.
Completely disassembled and restored my 68 Corvette but haven't done much with the wife's Audi as it is a different animal but would like to do the tie rod end myself if possible.
Should part be purchased from Audi or aftermarket vendor?

You'l need a torch to unscrew them, and a toe-in
alignment when done.
