dv replacment
Ok so I did my homework searching the site about dv problems and have come to the conclusion that the inconsistent power 'm having around 3300 -4000 rpm is probally from baddv's,I hopecauseit's a cheap fix! I purchased the 710N.Are there any sites or links with diagrams on replacement that anyone knows of? I forgot to mention the car came with an ARP chip which was off when I purchased the car.I turned it onasap! A week or so later started to getthe power problem I mentioned. So I just wanted to confirm my suspicions and try to get a digram on replacing them. Thanks

RE: dv replacment
Replacing it is easier than changing the oil man, just find it (depending on what engine you have) take off the two clamps and slide it out.
It could very well be the DV it power is dropping around 4k.

Cool I figured it wouldn't be to hard but I'm new to working on Audi's I'm an old school muscle car guy not much to those old chevys! So do you think changing the DV's is a good starting point for the problem? Will there be any visable defects in the old ones or is it all internal? Thanks
I found this link showing the location of the DV on 2.7t DUHH couldn't be easier!!!
