I recently purchased a 2003, 4.2 A6. (sport and luxury pkg) I love it, however it needs new tires and so in getting them, I am looking to move to 18" wheels. I have researched and it seems that there are a very limited number of wheel options available for this model. Is this so and are there recommendations? Certainly the lighter and stronger the better.

I have a 2001 4.2 and I just did the swich over. There is a place in CA that will make a custom fit wheel space and hub centric kit for every wheel as long as you know what the fitment is. The place is MC Motorsports. www.mcmotorsports.com I'm pretty sure that's the site. I put hp racing lightning 18x8 and used 255/35/18 and they work great. The only thing is I needed the wheel spacer kit they made for me it took about 2 weeks but worth the wait.
