The ECON button on the airconditionig control panel remains lit and the system is not cooling the air. I have had the gas topped up but it made no difference. Please help !

I cannot switch off the econ switch onmy A6airconditioning unit. The system is full of gas but i have no cool air.

 

Check if the compressor comes on. If it does and you have no cool air, its shot. If it doesn't come on, check the wire to the compressor. If that is also fine, you must check for faults. There must be one, probably regarding the pressure sensor, check the wires and the sensor.
