Audi TT Quattro Transmission issues
Hey all,
After driving through flooded streets and stalling in water last week I noticed that my automatic Audi TT Quattro appeared to rumble (seemingly under passenger dash) when I went from a stop to accelerate. This noise stops when speed is constant or decreasing. After visiting Audi, they stated that the car was slipping gears but that no water was found in the transmission fluid and that water was not likely the problem (although I had No prior transmission trouble). There were no ECM codes displayed.
Is it possible that a transmission flush and filter change could help this problem? And, would a fluid additive such as lucas no slip (if compatible) be able to make my transmission run smoothly temporarily (for the next month, >120k miles so not much to lose)?
Thanks for the insight!
