Odd behavior began on my 2005 1.8L A4 last week.

Wipers work fine (full up/down travel) when switched on in normal speeds, but pause at halfway (45degree) position in intermittent mode and when switched off. Very annoying trying to look around them when not raining.

I've bench-tested the relay that I think controls them (#370), and that checks good.

Any thoughts on what I should explore next? Wiper switch/stalk?
