Default brake problems

hello all, i'm new to the forum and i wish i knew about it sooner. i have an 2001 audi allroad with 75000 miles. i had a cv boot fixed and the machanic didn't hook up a brake line? so i was low on brake fluid for a week, i brought it back and he fixed it but 40 miles or solater my abs sensor unit needed to be replaced. does anyone know if one could have any thing to do with the other. i would appreciate any and all help thank you.

I don't know if they could be related, however if you haven't already fixed the abs module you can send it to http://www.modulemaster.com and they will rebuild it for only a couple hundred bucks vs 1k

he shouldn't have disconnected the brake line to begin w/....

it depends on how much stuff he took off and disconnected to get the axle out.

You do not have to pull brake lines to get at the cv boot or remove an axel. I can't believe someone charging you money could be so careless it's only a brake line? And yes running you out of brake fluid could have had an effect with the ABS. IMO find another tech.[sm=jawdrop.gif][sm=jawdrop.gif][sm=jawdrop.gif][sm=jawdrop.gif]
