I have a 2002 Audi Allroad the front brakes overheated and seem to be applying pressure on the rotors without touching the brake peddle, I had to pull off the road and let the car sit for awhile and let them cool down .after they cooled I got the car home after driving around 5 miles, the front breaks seem to be hot again, first it was the right side now it seems to be both left and right, any idea why they might be getting hot and hanging up? I just changed the break pads about 3 months ago and they seem fine then

 

Sounds like one or more of the pads is binding and not releasing. I'd disassemble everything and check it out. Use brake grease on the ends of the pads where the metal backing plate fits into the caliper slide assembly and where ever the backing plate contacts the caliper. I also use brake grease on the back of the pad where it contacts the caliper piston.

 

I did that and the calipers and the pads are fine I checked the master cylinder and it had thick gel like fluid in it so I bled out all the break fluid and put new fluid in, now I'm having trouble getting break pressure built up when pumping the break peddle I bled all the calipers starting on the back right then back left ,right front and then left front 'it seems like the master cylinder is not pumping up correctly could the master cylinder gone bad from all the pumping and system bleeding

 

Ahh.. See me reply to the other thread.. It very well could be some crud in the master cylinder not allowing the system to depressurize fast enough after releasing the pedal. If it's been on there a while, it might not be a bad idea to go ahead and replace it while you're messing with it.
