BROKEN OIL TEMP SENSOR

My oil temperature gauge doesnt budge. Do i have a bad gauge or do i have a bad sensor somewhere? PLEASE HELP

Probably a bad sensor.

do you know if that is an easy DIY fix or is it something i should bring to the dealer

It depends, some engines have the oil level sensor and oil temp integrated into the same sensor. This would be easy to change because its bolted to the oil pan which is just a couple of bolts. Some sensors are mounted to the oil cooler ect which isn't easy to change. Check with the dealer parts dept. with your VIN number to see what you have.
