doubt this happened to anyone but me, but isworth a try.
During my regular detailing ofmy 99.5 A4,I removed thefrontashtray andreached into the 'drawer'that the tray sits into get an Fn penny that had fallen.Way in theremy hand hitand releasedwhatever mechanism pushes the ashtray'drawer'out. It sounded like a tape measure coiling up whenretracted. Now the drawer stillmoves freely, just not automatic open with a touch as it should. not too big a deal butits annoying cause it doesnt sit flush when closed.Any Ideas? thanks
