I had a problem with misfires and my idle was funny and i got it vaged and everything looked fine upset for the misfiring. then we disconnected the wire to the MAF and everything running like it should no misfires and wasnt idleing funny. So the very next day went to dealer and got a new MAF and installed it and went to start thecar and then after it starts it dies. i took out the new one and installed the old and the idle problem is back. i am going to exchange the MAF tomorrow because i think i might of got a bad MAF. Any help wouuld be apprecaited!!! Thank a bunch in advance.

 

Check for vacuum leaks. Also check to make sure you dont have a light on the dash flashing. It is a car with a key on it. That indicates an imobilizer problme.

 

do u know a way to do vacuum leak??

 

we need some fault codes to determine the problem
