Hi

I have a 2002 1.9TDI A4 Avant with 64,000 on the clock. I have recently noticed that the climate control doesn't seem to be working when set to cool, it just pumps out luke warm air. Seems ok when heat is required.

Hope someone can offer guidance

my 2000 A4 1.8T does the same. my aux fan was seized i think the fan clutch needs to be replaced. last night i tried to force it to spin and i did. now it spins freely by hand but i don't think that it spins with the clutch anymore, but i do think it's blowing colder now. i probably broke the fan free from the clutch, and now the clutch can spin giving me colder air. might be that. ccheck if the fan is siezed
