1995 S6

My climate control is not allowing any air from the dash vents? It is splitting the distribution between the foot well and defrost. Pressing the manual vent button has no effect.

I just pulled out the flap motor mounting tray and will try to troubleshoot it tomorrow. I have the opposite problem you do. Only air from the center, not defroster/footwell. Looks like my Center Flap Servo seized up (frozen potentiometer?), but haven't completed the work yet. Previous owner swapped out Climate Control Unit, but I don't think it fixed the problem (won't say for sure since I didn't personally do it). New part costs about $170 from partsgeek.com but will try to find a way to clean the old part. There used to be a pdf file available with instructions but the link doesn't work any more. I will post a request for this file now.
