Door Ajar on Dash - Slamming the Door
Hello,
I'm new to the forum after searching it the past day and a half for a solution to an issue with my driver's side door ajar indicator on my dash. The door is definitely not ajar but the indicator doesn't go off when I close the door unless I slam it really hard. Sometimes I have to do this three or four times before the car realizes the door is closed.
I've seen posts about the courtesy light on the left passenger floor area causing this. I'm hoping someone can shed some additional light on this issue for me.
Thanks in advance!

Black Switch Pulled Under Seat
After reading a bit on AudiWorld I saw where someone had posted a photo indicating exactly where the connector was for the rear courtesy light that may have been causing the problem. I went outside a few minutes ago and pulled this black two wire connector under forward right-hand side of the driver's seat and tried that. No go, it's still giving me the door ajar indicator flashing and I had to slam the door to stop it.
Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks very much, I appreciate the input! For some reason it stopped doing it over the weekend. Maybe I slammed the door hard enough one of those last times to free whatever was stuck. I'm sure it will reappear soon - possibly at 5:00 today when I get off work, now that I've jinxed myself online...
