i would just take it to a local cusum exhaust shop prob not cost anywhere near the dealer. here is a site for exhaust products cats

Just stuck a peice of rebar though my last cat, one of them was already toast. I don't know what smell ya'll are talking about, but then again, I can't smell anything, been around solvents to much.

when the cat goes bad, it often smells like rotten eggs.

I must have been thinking about the smell of no cat, verses what you are probably talking about, a bad cat.

To take the Cat out of your car you do need to do some heavy stuff, You do need to loosen the sub frame and then take off th tranny mounts, and getting to those damn nuts on the turbo housing. But other then that it is a cake walk. You are not getting ripped off by the labor, but the cat is the thing thats getting ya.
