It was about 25 deg yesterday and 15 this morning where i live in NY. I have found that the heater doesn't Blow Hot but just pretty warm. I usually hop in the car and leave it on Auto on 85 deg and when i have been driving for about 15 min i turn it on to HI. I don't really feel the car getting really hot after about 30 minutes of driving total where i usually would feel blaring heat in my other cars. I just wanted to know if this is normal on Audi's?

Also i have a question about AC compressor button, is it normal to not turn on when its is below a specific temperature outside? I don't care to turn it on but i do know it helps warm up the car faster and wanted to try it out if it helps.

I have a 1998 Audi A4 2.8L.
