Are the 3.0 AWD bad cars?
Are there many upgrades for the 3.0?

 

It depends on what you are asking of a car. The a6 is an all around awesome machine. 5 passanger with with lots of toys lots of trunk space solid feel on highway well above 100mph great handleing for a full size sedan. The 3.0 has a great amount of power for the type of car it is. If your switching from an evo or under 5 secong to 60 car you may feel let down in the take off. The quattro takes up power on take off giving slower times but it is still strong. These cars come alive above 70 mph and the awd is secomd to none. Plan on higher than average repairs and spending money at the shop. Many after market parts for these cars are available but due to tight spec German engineering not always easy to work on. These cars roll off the line from the mfg in perfect form. If you love to drive you will not be let down.
