hey I'm working on putting a window regulator in a 99 jetta and I'm stuck on how to release the locking mechanism from the door handle the cable is what iv been trying to get off but not sure if that's what i need but if anyone has worked on one or knows i could use the help. If anyone knows of a diy for it that would be great. thanks guys

 

Are you talking about where the cable connects to the interior door panel, or where the outside door handle connects?
