I have an 04 A4 1.8t quattro and about 3 months ago the left dipped headlight message appeared so I took it in to a local garage that specializes in imports rather than the dealer. They told me the bulb was bad and replaced it which is what I was expecting. So the new bulb worked fine until a few days ago when I was driving and the lights automatically came on and the left dipped headlight thing came on and the light was out again. Since the bulb is only 3 months old there is no way it should be out already, obviously. What else can be causing this problem? Thanks for helping
