97 audi a4 1.8L AWD Turbo. i was driving on a muddy road and then on my way home I hit the brakes hard and the transmission went into limp mode. I have cleaned the connection from the Transmission control module (recently changed) to the computer (connection nearest to the ground) and nothing sometimes it will go into reverse sometimes not. i also get horable mpg (around 8mpg) and its been that way sinse i got the car at 150000 miles also no trouble codes. is there anything i should go over or check ? maybe common problems. any help is appreciated
