Need help!! In process of replacing alternator!!

I have found threads on DIY A4 alternator replacement, but couldn't find one on the A6 2.7T. Anyone have step by step on this? I already have the front bumper off and don't know what to do next. Help please!!

i don't think you need to take off the bumper and put the lock carrier in service position... isn't it accessible from the bottom...?
