Im new to the audi scene and I picked up a audi a4 b5 wagon. Everything worked fine till a day ago. I noticed the coolant light started blinking so I added coolant thinking nothing. When I got home I noticed I lost more. I looked under the intake and there was a hole in one of the hoses. Like an idiot I thought as long as I keep adding coolant and watch the temp gauge and dont exceed to much it would be fine. As I was driving the temp was half way then it just shut off. smoke was coming from under the hood. I popped it and my reservoir was boiling. I let it cool down for about 2 hours added coolant again and tried to start it but it doesn't start just cranks. Any help will be great. Thanks

 

good news.... I only managed to blow the head gasket yay me.lots of things to do head gasket, timing belt, water pump. might as well get it all done.

 

sucks to hear. after about a week from your repair you'll love the car again... bill shock sucks

just hope you don't have a warped head
