Hi all,

Having an issue with my new 2015 A5. Brought it into the dealership for inspection and got a response that I think is total BS.

PROBLEM:
when I go out of a parking space or when turn the steering wheel all the way to the right/left, there is a really bad noise. A popping/cracking sound from the front area.

DEALERSHIP'S RESPONSE:
Verified customer concern, advised that noise is normal operation of the Audi Quattro system. When steering wheel is placed to full lock during a sharp turn under slow speeds, the system jumps itself in order to aid in smoother turning.

QUESTION:
Is the dealer correct? If yes, what does it mean? "the system jumps itself".
If not, what should I do?
