can someone tell me where exactly the code for the radio is inside the spare wheel well? i looked last night and theres a white sticker with a bunch of different numbers but none of the 4 digit numbers worked. any help is greatly appreciated.

 

Check with Audi dealers for a good price on getting the code.

 

If you bought it used, some owners like to write the code IN the owners' manual, somewhere around teh "radio" page. If it's not there, you're gonna hafta swing by a VW-Audi Stealer and have them pull the code down out of clouds... Expect to spend somewhere between $50-$150 for this process, depending on how greedy/crooked your local Stealer is[]

 

Make sure that you are entering the code correctly. You don't just enter the code. If you call the stealership, they will tell you how to do it.

 

good point... You know, the time between failed attempts DOUBLES with each incorrect attempt. 30 seconds, 1 minute, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128... Keep trying and you could eventually end up waiting a YEAR for it to accept another incorrect try
