Hi, hopefully someone can help me. I own a Audi A 4. I am having money problems with the economy, and maybe I can fix my car with as little amount of money. Ok When I park my car and lock it and come back later, the rear lights are on. I also noticed that when I am driving that the brakes try to slow my car down. I noticed early in the morning when its dark, that my rear brake light will go on when I am going down the road. I put my foot behind the brake and pull up and the brake light goes out. Any info would be great. Thanks

 

Brake light switch. The feeling like the brakes are slowing the car down can probably be attributed to something else that is coincidentally happening in the morning, or it's in your head because you see the brake lights on.

 

It's the brake light switch. If anyone says anything else, just make sure that when the brake light switch fixes it, you post on here telling everyone that the brake light switch fixed the problem.

By the way, if you're having money problems with the economy, an A4 is just about as practical as a Ferrari or a dump truck. Get rid of it.
