Default A relay is clicking, under dash, #267

The relay at topleft corner of the power block on my 2001 A4 1.8T is clicking when I step on the gas, and then it clicks back out when the RPM's drop back down. but not at any specific RPM, just as the motor calms down on deceleration.

It sounds like it kicks a fan on at the radiator.
The relay has #267 on it, and I can feel theclick in the relay itself.
I just want to know were to diagnose the problem that causes the fan to turn on off on off on off...... temp sensor bad maybe?!?

I tried anewrelay, but the same thing happened with the other relay.
Its making me crazy..... I need help! CLIKCLIKCLIK

Thanks!!!
Adam

None! No lights on, no codes. Well, 3 weeks ago, it had a lean condition, but that cleared itself. It was caused by the turbo being bad. The waste gate actuator arm had broken, and the dealer (a Chevy dealer) did not want to fix it, so I bought it, fixed the turbo, and fell in love with another Audi!
I wish it were that easy.
thanks
