S4 FUEL INJECTOR QUESTON
So my mechanic says my Injectors are going out. Audi has them for about $105 each. What are my other options? Could I run larger injectors at a lower dutty cycle? Any and all help will be appreciated.... Hector

105 isnt a bad price my cost is 94 bucks for oem. i would go that route. But yes you can regulate a larger injector, but that is pointless. only use larger injectors for an upgrade and that is after you get a pump and regulator to supply them.

Yeah, I think stock is the way to go for now. Just for conversation: If I did go a bit bigger injector, pump and regulator. Could I then run a split shot of nitrous (50/50hp)? Or would I need more fuel? thanx rayveedub....

If your going to run nitrous i would recomend a wet kit that supplys both fuel and nitrous. Its far safer than gambling on the injectors to supply the extra fuel you will need, which is the case in a dry kit.

RE: S4 FUEL INJECTOR QUESTON
s4 has big injectors as is, all i would do is the pump and adjustable FPR. A 50 shot direct port wont be that bad. for best reliability i would definately look into a fogger system, this avoids concentration in certain areas. If you wanna get really clever do the 7th injector on a switch, but that is over the top. Also it wouldnt hurt to use a program like lemmiwinks and turn back timing a few degrees. the key is run rich. rich is safe.
