Hi everyone I'm pretty new here and to the world of Audi so pardon my lack of correct terms here lol... but anyways, has anyone had an issue with the black plastic on your shifter breaking? You know that part that slides with the shifter at the bottom? I have an 07 audi a4 2.0 T. Along with the plastic breaking, the manual part of the shifter doesnt work, but the automatic and sport works. and on my dash it wont tell me what gear I'm in, all are highlighted. I dont see how a piece of plastic breaking and the actual shifting not working could be tied together.
So does anyone know what happened here or how I can fix it? my interior is seriously ugly with that plastic part gone. I cant find just that plastic anywhere and dont want to replace the entire shifter!
