I have a 1996 2.8 A4. Just few days ago I was just driving at a steady speed of about 45-50 and I start to feel a light vibration, as I keep drive it quickly gets worse! If I let off the gas the shaking will stop, If I also give it gas the shaking will stop. It only occurs when I am very light on the throttle and holding a constant speed. I also should mention my car is a 5 speed, i'm not sure if that makes any difference. This is the good part!, I drive to my friends house right away too see if he could help me out and when I go to give him a ride, my car does not seem to do anything out of the ordinary. If anyone has any explanation as to why my car would do this please let me know!
